Responsibilities:

• Receive and sort incoming packages and mail in a timely and efficient manner
• Verify and record package information and ensure accurate tracking and delivery
• Handle and process packages with care, following safety protocols and utilizing appropriate equipment
• Organize and maintain package storage areas, ensuring proper storage and organization for easy retrieval
• Communicate with team members and supervisors to coordinate package distribution and resolve any issues or discrepancies
• Assist with loading and unloading packages onto delivery trucks or other transportation vehicles
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company policies and safety regulations
• Adhere to package handling procedures and guidelines to ensure package integrity and security
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge related to package handling and safety protocols
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients and customers, addressing any inquiries or concerns regarding packages
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and timely package delivery and distribution
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management team

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in package handling or related field preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
• Proficient in using package tracking systems and technology
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Able to follow safety protocols and handle packages with care
• Basic knowledge of computer systems and software
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
