Position: Automotive Technician

Overview: Our company is seeking a skilled and highly motivated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, as well as a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a variety of vehicle issues, ensuring that our customers' vehicles are running safely and efficiently. Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including but not limited to oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using diagnostic equipment and your own knowledge and experience.
• Communicate with customers to understand their concerns and provide recommendations for necessary repairs.
• Perform repairs and replacements of various automotive components, such as engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed, including parts and labor used, in our computerized system.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Continuously update your knowledge and skills through training and workshops to stay current with new automotive technologies.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in automotive technology preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Automotive Technician in a professional setting.
• Knowledge of automotive diagnostic equipment and tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and parts.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
