Job Title: SQL Server Developer

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SQL Server Developer to join our dynamic team. As a SQL Server Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SQL databases and applications. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective database operations and support our company's data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain complex SQL databases and applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into database solutions
• Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support data retrieval and manipulation
• Monitor database performance, identify and troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal performance
• Develop and maintain data integration processes between various systems and databases
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with data privacy regulations
• Perform database backups, restores, and disaster recovery procedures
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and end-users
• Keep up-to-date with emerging database technologies and trends and make recommendations for improvements and enhancements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a SQL Server Developer or similar role
• Strong proficiency in SQL and database design and development
• Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Advanced knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization techniques
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and methodologies
• Experience with data modeling and ETL processes
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud-based databases, such as Microsoft Azure SQL Database
• Knowledge of other database technologies, such as MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL
• Experience with data visualization tools, such as Power BI or Tableau
• Certifications in SQL Server or other database technologies
