Job Title: Wholesale Distribution Manager

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Wholesale Distribution Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Wholesale Distribution Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the wholesale distribution operations of our company. This is a vital role within our organization, as you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the distribution process to ensure timely delivery of products to our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to increase efficiency and productivity in the wholesale distribution operations
• Oversee and manage the entire wholesale distribution process, from receiving orders to delivery to customers
• Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and distributors
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment to avoid stock shortages
• Analyze sales data and forecast demand to ensure adequate inventory levels are maintained
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders such as suppliers, distributors, and customers
• Lead and motivate a team of distribution staff to ensure high-quality service and efficient operations
• Implement and monitor safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for the distribution process
• Analyze and report on distribution metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities
• Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and company policies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in wholesale distribution management
• Proven track record of managing a team and optimizing distribution operations
• Strong understanding of supply chain management principles
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Proficient in using distribution software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
