Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and other network devices.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
Configure and maintain network security, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and virtual private networks.
Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement network policies, procedures, and standards.
Work closely with vendors to acquire necessary hardware and software and ensure compatibility with existing systems.
Conduct regular network assessments to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for upgrades or changes.
Create and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
Provide technical support and assistance to end-users for network-related issues.
Stay updated on new and emerging technologies and make recommendations for their implementation to improve network performance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5 years of experience in network engineering or a related role.
Strong knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
Experience with network security, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and virtual private networks.
In-depth understanding of routing and switching protocols, such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP.
Familiarity with network monitoring tools, such as SolarWinds or PRTG.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Relevant certifications, such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE, are a plus.
