Position: Electrical Quality Control Specialist

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Quality Control Specialist to join our team. As an Electrical Quality Control Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of all electrical components and systems used in our projects. Your primary focus will be to perform thorough inspections and tests on electrical equipment and systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections and tests on electrical components and systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications
• Develop and implement quality control procedures and guidelines for electrical systems and equipment
• Monitor and document all quality control activities to ensure compliance with project requirements
• Review and analyze technical drawings, specifications, and other related documents to identify potential issues and ensure accuracy and completeness
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to identify and resolve any quality control issues
• Conduct root cause analysis and develop corrective action plans for any quality control failures
• Ensure that all electrical components and systems are installed, tested, and maintained in accordance with industry standards and specifications
• Verify and approve all electrical materials and equipment used in projects
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all quality control activities, inspections, and test results
• Keep up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to electrical quality control
• Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates on the status of quality control activities
• Train and mentor junior quality control technicians and provide guidance on industry standards and best practices

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control within the electrical industry
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including NEC, IEEE, and NETA
• Proven experience in conducting inspections and tests on electrical components and systems
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve quality control issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in using quality control tools and software
• Certifications in quality control and electrical testing are a plus
