Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop design concepts
Design and develop new products using CAD software and other engineering tools
Conduct feasibility studies and perform calculations to ensure product designs are functional and cost-effective
Create detailed drawings and specifications for manufacturing and assembly
Conduct design reviews and participate in product testing to ensure product quality and functionality
Troubleshoot and resolve design issues during the development process
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in design technology to incorporate into product designs
Develop and maintain design documentation and reports
Work closely with suppliers to select and source materials and components for production
Participate in product launch activities and provide support to the production team during the ramp-up phase
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all product designs

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design or related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in product design and development
Proficient in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) and other engineering tools
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
