Key Responsibilities:

Use a variety of tools and techniques to heat, shape, and manipulate glass materials
Operate and maintain glass blowing equipment such as blowpipes, ladles, and furnaces
Gather molten glass from the furnace and shape it into desired forms such as vases, bowls, and sculptures
Work with different types of glass such as clear, colored, and textured glass
Use molds and templates to create consistent shapes and sizes
Collaborate with other glass blowers and glass artists to create custom pieces
Ensure the quality of the glass products by inspecting for any defects or imperfections
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
Keep a clean and organized work area to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
Continuously improve your skills and techniques to enhance the quality of your work
Meet production goals and deadlines set by the company

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Glass Blower or in a related field
High School Diploma or equivalent, technical training in glass blowing is a plus
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Knowledge of different types of glass and their properties
Familiarity with glass blowing equipment and tools
Ability to work in a team and follow instructions
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Creative and artistic mindset
Physically fit and able to work in a standing position for extended periods
Willingness to work in a hot and noisy environment
Strong work ethic and reliability
