Title: Credit Recovery Specialist

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Credit Recovery Specialist to join our team. The Credit Recovery Specialist will be responsible for managing and recovering delinquent accounts to ensure timely payments and reduce losses for the company. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as a strong understanding of credit and collections processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contact delinquent accounts by phone, email, and mail to negotiate payment arrangements and resolve outstanding balances
• Review and analyze credit reports to determine the best course of action for each account
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all collections activities and account statuses
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve customer inquiries and disputes
• Stay up-to-date on all relevant laws and regulations related to collections and credit recovery
• Provide timely and accurate reporting to management on collection activities and account statuses

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in credit and collections, preferably in a high-volume environment
• Strong understanding of credit and collections processes, including skip tracing, bankruptcy, and legal proceedings
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with collections software
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus
