Position: Security Operations Manager

Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Security Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Security Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our security department. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our organization, employees, and assets. This is a leadership position that requires strong management skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of security protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the protection of company assets and personnel.
• Oversee the daily operations of the security department, including scheduling, training, and performance management of security personnel.
• Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate security measures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify security needs and develop strategies to address them.
• Monitor and analyze security systems and data to identify potential threats and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
• Manage relationships with external security vendors and contractors, ensuring that all services are delivered according to agreed-upon contracts and standards.
• Stay updated with the latest security technologies, trends, and best practices to continuously improve the organization's security posture.
• Prepare and present reports to senior management on security operations, incidents, and overall risk assessment.
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures, coordinating with local law enforcement and other emergency services when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a security leadership role, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols and procedures, including access control, incident response, and risk management.
• Proven experience in managing security systems, such as CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to think critically and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to security.
• Professional certifications such as CPP, PSP, or CISSP are preferred.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
