Job Title: Educational Technology Specialist

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Educational Technology Specialist to join our team. As an Educational Technology Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support, training, and guidance to educators and students on the effective use of technology in the classroom. You will also play a crucial role in researching, implementing, and evaluating new technologies to enhance the learning experience for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with educators to identify their technology needs and provide solutions to enhance teaching and learning.
• Develop and deliver technology training sessions for educators to improve their technical skills and knowledge.
• Assist in the selection and implementation of educational software, applications, and tools.
• Provide technical support to educators and students on the use of educational technology, troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in educational technology and make recommendations for their implementation in the classroom.
• Work with the IT team to maintain and update hardware and software systems used in the classroom.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of technology integration in the classroom and make adjustments as needed.
• Collaborate with other educational technology specialists to share best practices and resources.
• Assist in the development and implementation of technology policies and procedures.
• Train and support educators in the use of online learning platforms for virtual and hybrid learning environments.
• Work with students to develop their technology skills and promote digital literacy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an educational technology role.
• Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and best practices for technology integration in the classroom.
• Experience with a variety of educational technology tools and platforms such as learning management systems, virtual reality, and online collaboration tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and support educators and students.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
