Job Title: Aviation Safety Inspector

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly detail-oriented Aviation Safety Inspector to join our team. As an Aviation Safety Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and compliance of all air transportation activities. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest level of aviation safety standards and ensuring the protection of passengers, crew, and aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft, equipment, facilities, and operations to identify potential safety hazards and ensure compliance with federal aviation regulations
• Review and evaluate maintenance and repair records, flight operations procedures, and training programs to ensure compliance with safety standards
• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to prevent accidents and incidents
• Investigate and report on any accidents or incidents that occur during air transportation activities
• Collaborate with other aviation professionals, such as pilots, mechanics, and air traffic controllers, to identify and address safety concerns
• Conduct regular audits and evaluations to assess the effectiveness of safety programs and identify areas for improvement
• Stay up-to-date on all federal aviation regulations and industry best practices to ensure compliance and promote safety
• Provide safety training and education to aviation personnel to increase awareness and understanding of safety protocols
• Communicate safety recommendations and findings to management and work with them to implement necessary changes and improvements
• Participate in safety meetings and committees to discuss safety concerns and develop strategies for maintaining a safe environment for all aviation activities
• Collaborate with government agencies and other organizations to exchange information and promote safety initiatives within the aviation industry

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in aviation, aeronautical engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation safety or a related field
• Knowledge of federal aviation regulations and industry standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify potential safety hazards
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with a diverse team
• Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficient in using computer programs and systems related to aviation safety
