Position Overview: As an Industrial Waste Cleanup Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleanup of industrial waste sites and ensuring compliance with all environmental regulations. You will be leading a team of cleanup technicians and coordinating with other departments to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of cleanup technicians to ensure safe and efficient cleanup of industrial waste sites
• Plan and schedule cleanup projects, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion
• Conduct site assessments to determine the extent of contamination and develop appropriate cleanup plans
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local environmental regulations and guidelines
• Communicate with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders to provide updates on project status and address any concerns
• Train and mentor new team members on proper cleanup procedures, safety protocols, and environmental regulations
• Monitor and maintain inventory of necessary equipment and supplies for cleanup projects
• Conduct regular safety meetings and promote a culture of safety within the team
• Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports on project progress, expenses, and compliance with regulations
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of cleanup operations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial waste cleanup, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
• Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations and guidelines
• Strong leadership skills and ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with environmental management software
• Willingness to travel and work on-site at various industrial waste sites
