Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Curriculum Development Specialist to join our team. As a Curriculum Development Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing curriculum materials for our organization. Your main goal will be to create a comprehensive and engaging curriculum that meets the needs of our students and aligns with our organization's goals and objectives. You will work closely with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our curriculum is of the highest quality and meets industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and analysis to identify the learning objectives and outcomes for our curriculum.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and content for the curriculum.
• Design and develop engaging and interactive course materials, including lesson plans, presentations, assessments, and activities.
• Utilize instructional design principles and best practices to create effective learning experiences.
• Develop and implement assessment strategies to measure the effectiveness of the curriculum.
• Maintain and update the curriculum to ensure it remains current, relevant, and aligned with industry standards.
• Work closely with instructional designers, graphic designers, and multimedia specialists to incorporate multimedia elements into the curriculum.
• Review and edit content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
• Conduct pilot testing and gather feedback from students and instructors to improve the curriculum.
• Stay informed about the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in curriculum development and integrate them into the curriculum.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing materials and strategies to promote the curriculum.
• Train and support instructors on the effective delivery of the curriculum.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of the curriculum and make necessary improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• Proficient in using authoring tools, learning management systems, and multimedia software.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
