Position: Machinery Maintenance Supervisor

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Machinery Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all machinery and equipment within our company. Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of maintenance technicians and coordinate their daily activities to ensure timely completion of tasks
• Conduct regular inspections of all machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and develop preventive maintenance plans
• Oversee the repair and maintenance of all production machinery, including mechanical, electrical, and electronic components
• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex machinery problems and implement effective solutions
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive inventory of spare parts and equipment
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that maintenance activities do not disrupt production schedules
• Train and mentor maintenance technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively
• Ensure that all maintenance work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment maintenance logs, and inventory levels
• Participate in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and policies to improve efficiency and reduce downtime
• Stay updated on industry advancements and recommend new technologies and techniques to improve machinery performance and reduce maintenance costs

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance principles and practices
• Experience working with a variety of machinery and equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures
• Willingness to work flexible schedules and be on call for emergency maintenance situations
