If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you as an Airline Dispatcher with SkyJet!As an Airline Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in the safe and efficient operation of our airline. You will work closely with pilots, air traffic controllers, and other airline staff to plan and coordinate flight schedules, routes, and fuel requirements. Your ability to make quick decisions and effectively communicate with various stakeholders will be essential in ensuring the success of each flight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor weather conditions and make necessary adjustments to flight plans to ensure the safety of passengers and crew
• Create and maintain flight plans, taking into consideration factors such as aircraft performance, weather conditions, and airspace restrictions
• Communicate with pilots, air traffic controllers, and ground staff to provide updates and changes to flight plans
• Monitor aircraft fuel levels and coordinate fueling services as needed
• Keep accurate records of flight plans, flight progress, and any deviations from the original plan
• Collaborate with maintenance personnel to ensure aircraft are airworthy and ready for scheduled flights
• Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and company policies to ensure compliance at all times

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in aviation or related field preferred
• FAA Dispatcher License or Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Airline Dispatcher or in a related role
• Strong knowledge of flight planning software and air traffic control procedures
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and make quick decisions in a high-pressure environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
