Key Responsibilities:

Conduct soil testing and analysis to determine nutrient deficiencies and recommend appropriate fertilizers
Prepare and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper water supply for crops
Monitor and control the growth of weeds, pests, and diseases using appropriate methods and chemicals
Operate and maintain farm equipment such as tractors, plows, and harvesters
Plant, cultivate, and harvest crops according to established procedures and schedules
Monitor and record weather conditions to make necessary adjustments to crop management practices
Assist in the development and implementation of crop rotation plans
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on farm buildings, equipment, and machinery
Maintain accurate records of crop yields, expenses, and inventory
Collaborate with other team members to identify and implement improvements in farm operations

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in agriculture or related field is preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in agricultural operations
Strong knowledge of farming techniques, equipment, and machinery
Knowledge of pest and disease management strategies
Ability to operate and maintain farm equipment and machinery
Physically fit and able to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
