Job Title: Flight Test Engineer

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Flight Test Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a key role in the development and testing of our cutting-edge aircraft systems. As a Flight Test Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting various tests and gathering data to ensure the safety, efficiency, and performance of our aircraft. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute flight test plans for new and existing aircraft systems
• Analyze and interpret flight test data to evaluate system performance and identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to identify and troubleshoot any technical issues or anomalies
• Conduct ground and flight tests to verify the functionality and safety of aircraft systems
• Prepare detailed reports documenting test procedures, results, and recommendations
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in aircraft technology
• Utilize various tools and software to analyze and process flight data
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and safety standards
• Participate in flight test meetings and provide technical expertise and insights
• Mentor and train junior flight test engineers as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in flight testing, preferably in the aviation industry
• Extensive knowledge of aircraft systems and flight principles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in using flight test instrumentation and data acquisition systems
• Experience with flight simulation software is a plus
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Willingness to travel for flight test missions as needed
• FAA Pilot or Flight Engineer certificate is preferred
