Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of the company’s assets, employees, and visitors.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect any suspicious activity and respond accordingly.
- Enforce security policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Conduct security checks on employees, visitors, and vehicles entering and exiting the premises.
- Respond to emergency situations such as fire alarms, medical emergencies, and security breaches.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and emergency services when necessary.
- Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related incidents.
- Conduct investigations into security breaches and provide recommendations for prevention.
- Conduct safety and security training for employees to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify and address any potential security risks.
- Participate in disaster preparedness and emergency response planning.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in security technology.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven work experience as a Security Officer or a similar role.
- Valid security license/certification.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
- Excellent observation and surveillance skills.
- Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergency situations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Physical fitness and ability to stand/walk for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
