Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct extensive research and analysis to identify new product opportunities and improvements for existing products
• Design and develop prototypes and proof-of-concept models for new products, utilizing a variety of engineering tools and techniques
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, test, and refine product designs
• Continuously evaluate and improve product performance through testing and analysis
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, and incorporate them into product designs
• Conduct market research and gather customer feedback to inform product development decisions
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide creative and innovative ideas for new products and features
• Write technical reports and documentation to communicate product specifications and features
• Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth transition from prototype to production
• Troubleshoot and provide technical support for product-related issues
• Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring timely completion of projects
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in their professional development
• Adhere to company standards and procedures for quality control and safety measures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in a research and development role, preferably in a manufacturing or technology industry
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles and design processes
• Proficient in 3D modeling software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD
• Experience with rapid prototyping techniques, such as 3D printing and CNC machining
• Familiarity with product testing and analysis methods
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
