Key Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise the production process, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks
Monitor production output to meet quality standards and production targets
Develop and implement production schedules and ensure all resources are utilized effectively
Train, coach, and mentor production workers to improve their skills and performance
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to production workers
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and resolve any production-related issues
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
Oversee inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of materials
Prepare and maintain production reports and documentation

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in steel production, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
Strong knowledge of steel production processes and equipment
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Proficient in MS Office and production management software
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Flexibility to work in shifts and on weekends, as needed
