Job Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day transportation operations, including arranging shipments, coordinating with carriers, and tracking deliveries. The Transportation Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring that our clients' goods are delivered efficiently and cost-effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage all transportation activities, including shipping, receiving, and tracking of goods.
• Communicate with carriers to arrange pickups and deliveries and ensure timely transportation of goods.
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues or delays that may arise.
• Maintain accurate records of all transportation activities, including invoices, bills of lading, and delivery confirmations.
• Collaborate with warehouse and inventory teams to ensure accurate inventory levels and efficient shipping processes.
• Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and negotiate rates to ensure cost-effective transportation options.
• Analyze transportation data and provide regular reports to management on transportation costs, efficiency, and performance.
• Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies.
• Identify areas for improvement in transportation processes and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in transportation coordination or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and carrier management.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and transportation management software.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends and outside of regular business hours.
