Job Description: Trend Thread Apparel is seeking a talented Fashion Designer to join our dynamic team. As a Fashion Designer, you will be responsible for creating innovative and trend-setting designs that reflect our brand's vision and aesthetic. You will play a crucial role in the development and production of our fashion collections, with a focus on delivering high-quality and commercially viable designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough research on current and upcoming fashion trends, including fabric, color, and silhouette trends
• Develop design concepts and sketches for seasonal collections, taking into consideration brand identity, target audience, and market trends
• Collaborate with the design team to create cohesive and on-trend collections that align with the brand's vision
• Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for design concepts, including measurements, materials, and construction details
• Work closely with the production team to ensure designs are translated accurately from concept to final product
• Attend fittings and provide feedback on garment fit, construction, and quality
• Keep up-to-date with industry developments and attend fashion shows and trade events to source new trends and inspiration
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and design concepts are executed within budget
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers and interns
• Maintain accurate records of design concepts, sketches, and specifications for future reference

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Fashion Designer in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design styles and techniques
• In-depth knowledge of fashion trends, fabrics, and construction techniques
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite and CAD
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a team environment
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Passion for fashion and a keen eye for detail
