Key Responsibilities:

Perform quality control inspections on raw materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure they meet company standards
Document and report any quality issues or defects found during inspections
Evaluate production processes and identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency and reduce defects
Collaborate with production teams to ensure quality standards are met and maintained throughout the production process
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company and industry regulations
Develop and maintain quality control procedures and guidelines to ensure consistent quality standards are met
Train and mentor production team members on quality control processes and procedures
Communicate with suppliers and vendors to resolve quality issues and ensure timely delivery of quality materials
Analyze quality control data and provide recommendations for improvement to management
Monitor and maintain equipment used in the quality control process, ensuring it is properly calibrated and functioning correctly

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Quality Control or related field preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality control role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
Strong understanding of quality control processes and procedures
Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve quality issues
Knowledge of industry regulations and standards
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with quality control software is a plus
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work occasional weekends and overtime as needed
