Job Title: Curriculum Specialist

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Curriculum Specialist to join our team. The Curriculum Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing curriculum plans, materials, and resources to support the educational goals of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in curriculum design and teaching experience, as well as a passion for creating engaging and effective learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement curriculum plans that align with the organization's educational goals and standards.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and instructional designers to create engaging and effective learning materials and resources.
• Conduct needs assessments and research to identify gaps in existing curriculum and make recommendations for improvements.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum and make necessary adjustments based on feedback and data analysis.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in curriculum design to continuously improve our offerings.
• Train and support teachers and staff on implementing the curriculum and using educational technology tools.
• Collaborate with other Curriculum Specialists and instructional teams to ensure consistency and alignment across all curricula.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills related to curriculum development and implementation.
• Communicate with stakeholders, including parents and school administrators, to gather feedback and keep them informed about curriculum updates.
• Manage budget and resources for curriculum development and implementation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in curriculum development, preferably in an educational setting.
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles and learning theories.
• Experience with curriculum mapping, assessment design, and data analysis.
• Knowledge of educational technology tools and their integration into curriculum design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Passion for education and a commitment to creating high-quality learning experiences for students.
