Job Title: Choreographer

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Choreographer to join our team. As a Choreographer, you will be responsible for creating and coordinating dance routines and performances for various projects and events. You will work closely with dancers, directors, and other creative professionals to bring our vision to life through movement and expression. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual with a strong background in dance and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with directors and other creative professionals to develop dance routines and performances that align with the overall vision of the project or event
• Create original choreography that is both visually stunning and technically challenging
• Conduct auditions and select dancers for specific roles or performances
• Provide guidance and direction to dancers during rehearsals and performances
• Ensure that all movements and routines are executed with precision and in accordance with the desired style and theme
• Work closely with costume designers to ensure that costumes allow for maximum movement and enhance the overall performance
• Continuously develop and refine choreography to ensure that it remains fresh and relevant
• Stay updated on current trends and techniques in dance to incorporate into performances
• Manage the budget for dance-related expenses, such as costumes, props, and rehearsal space
• Travel to different locations for performances, rehearsals, and auditions as needed
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, both on and off stage

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Dance, Performing Arts, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Choreographer, preferably in a professional setting
• Extensive knowledge of various dance styles, including classical, contemporary, and cultural
• Proven track record of creating successful and impactful choreography
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a team
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Flexibility to work long and irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet project deadlines
• Willingness to travel for performances and events
• Creative and innovative mindset with the ability to think outside the box
• Passion for dance and the ability to inspire and motivate others through movement and expression
