About the Role: We are searching for a highly creative and detail-oriented Craft Event Planner to join our team. This individual will be responsible for planning and executing various craft events, such as workshops, classes, and parties. The ideal candidate will have a passion for crafting and organizing events, along with excellent communication and time-management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives and preferences
• Design and develop event concepts and themes, incorporating various crafting techniques and materials
• Source and manage vendors, including craft supply companies, instructors, and venues
• Create and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality
• Coordinate event logistics, such as venue set-up, craft supply preparation, and attendee registration
• Develop event timelines and schedules, ensuring all aspects of the event run smoothly and on time
• Oversee the set-up and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring a visually appealing and organized atmosphere
• Manage event staff, including instructors, assistants, and volunteers
• Communicate with attendees before, during, and after events, providing necessary information and addressing any concerns
• Monitor event attendance and feedback, making necessary adjustments for future events
• Stay up-to-date with crafting trends, techniques, and materials to enhance event offerings

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in event planning, preferably in the crafting industry
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Creative mindset and ability to think outside the box
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in event planning software, such as Eventbrite or Cvent
• Knowledge of crafting techniques and materials
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as events require
