Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop chemical processes and equipment for commercial production
Conduct research and analysis to improve existing processes and develop new ones
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of new processes
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the testing and implementation phases
Develop and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations during all stages of the process
Monitor and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and optimize efficiency
Collaborate with suppliers to source and evaluate materials and equipment
Train and mentor junior team members on chemical engineering principles and techniques

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in chemical process design and development
Strong understanding of chemical engineering principles, processes, and equipment
Experience with process simulation software and data analysis tools
Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations and their application in chemical processes
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
