Job Title: Truck Driver

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a variety of heavy-duty trucks to transport goods and materials to designated locations. This is a physically demanding role that requires strong driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and box trucks, to transport goods and materials to designated locations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members to provide updates on delivery status and any potential delays
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and cargo information
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the truck, including checking oil levels, tire pressure, and performing minor repairs when necessary
• Keep track of delivery schedules and deadlines to ensure on-time delivery of goods
• Report any accidents, incidents, or violations to the appropriate authorities and company officials
• Follow all company procedures for handling and securing cargo to prevent damage or loss

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Truck Driver
• Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and truck maintenance procedures
• Ability to operate a variety of trucks and equipment, including flatbeds, box trucks, and forklifts
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Good time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
