Job Title: Security Officer - Bank Vault

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team as a Bank Vault Security Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our bank's vault, as well as the valuable assets stored within it. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in protecting our bank and its customers from any potential security threats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and secure the bank's vault, ensuring that only authorized personnel have access to it.
• Conduct regular checks of the vault's security systems and equipment, reporting any malfunctions or issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Implement and enforce security protocols and procedures to maintain the highest level of security for the bank's vault.
• Monitor and control access to the vault, checking identification and conducting searches as necessary.
• Respond to any alarms or security breaches and take immediate action to resolve the situation.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all vault activities, including visitors and transactions.
• Collaborate with other security personnel and bank staff to maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest security trends and technologies to continuously improve the bank's security measures.
• Provide training and guidance to bank employees on security protocols and procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education or training in security or law enforcement is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a security-related role, preferably in a banking or financial institution.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle and protect confidential information.
• Knowledge of security protocols and procedures, as well as the ability to identify and respond to potential security threats.
• Strong physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
