Job Description: As a Water Infrastructure Engineer at AquaPure Water Services, you will play a critical role in the planning, design, and implementation of various water infrastructure projects. You will work closely with a team of engineers, designers, and project managers to develop cost-effective and sustainable solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct site investigations and assessments to gather data and information for project planning and design
• Prepare technical reports and design documents for water infrastructure projects, including water supply systems, wastewater treatment plants, stormwater management systems, and more
• Utilize engineering software and tools to create detailed designs, drawings, and calculations
• Collaborate with project team members to develop and evaluate project alternatives and make recommendations to clients
• Conduct hydraulic and hydrologic analysis to ensure the performance and efficiency of water infrastructure systems
• Review and analyze data to identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies
• Monitor project progress and ensure that all work is completed within the established timeline and budget
• Communicate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to obtain necessary permits and approvals
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff and review their work for accuracy and completeness
• Stay informed about industry developments, new technologies, and regulations related to water infrastructure projects
• Actively participate in business development activities, such as proposal writing and client presentations, to secure new projects and maintain client relationships.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited institution
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in water infrastructure engineering, preferably with a consulting firm
• Strong knowledge of water supply systems, wastewater treatment, and stormwater management
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, GIS, and hydraulic modeling software
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
