Title: Quality Control Technician

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join our team. As a Quality Control Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards before they are released to the market. You will work closely with our production team to perform various tests and inspections to identify any defects or deviations from our quality standards. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for ensuring the highest quality of products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
• Use various measuring tools and equipment to perform tests, such as calipers, gauges, and scales
• Record and analyze test data, and report any deviations or defects to the production team
• Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all quality control tests and inspections
• Ensure that all quality control equipment is properly calibrated and maintained
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and provide suggestions for process and product improvements
• Stay updated on industry standards and regulations related to product quality and make recommendations for compliance
• Train and mentor new quality control technicians to ensure they follow standard operating procedures and adhere to quality standards

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• 2-3 years of experience in a quality control role in a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong knowledge of quality control techniques, tools, and methodologies
• Familiarity with ISO and other quality standards
• Proficient in using measuring tools and equipment
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Basic computer skills and experience with quality control software
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Flexibility to work different shifts, if required
