About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Student Affairs Director to join our team at Himalayan Peak Science College. As the Student Affairs Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of student affairs, including student services, campus activities, and student engagement. You will work closely with students, faculty, and staff to create a positive and supportive learning environment for our diverse student population.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement programs and services that support the academic, personal, and social development of students.
• Oversee student services, including admissions, financial aid, academic advising, and career services.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure that student services align with the academic mission of the institution.
• Plan and execute campus activities and events that promote student engagement and enhance the overall student experience.
• Serve as a liaison between students and administration, addressing student concerns and advocating for student needs.
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to student affairs, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Manage the budget for student affairs and ensure responsible use of resources.
• Supervise and evaluate student affairs staff, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
• Stay up-to-date on current trends and best practices in student affairs, and make recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide a holistic and comprehensive approach to student support services.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in higher education, student affairs, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in student affairs, preferably in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of student development theories and best practices in student affairs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse student population.
• Proven leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Experience in budget management and resource allocation.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders to achieve common goals.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to student affairs.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
