Responsibilities:

Develop and implement audit plans, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
Manage a team of auditors and provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations
Oversee the execution of audits, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases
Conduct risk assessments and identify areas for improvement in internal controls and processes
Review and analyze audit findings and provide recommendations for corrective actions
Communicate audit results to senior management and collaborate on action plans
Stay up-to-date on industry developments, changes in regulations, and best practices in auditing
Participate in special projects and investigations as needed
Ensure timely completion of all audit assignments and adherence to deadlines
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including external auditors and regulatory bodies
Perform quality control reviews of audit work to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness of audits

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role
Strong knowledge of auditing standards, principles, and techniques
Experience in risk assessment, control evaluation, and audit planning
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office and audit software
Experience in the Accounting sector is a plus
