Job Title: Public Policy Analyst

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Public Policy Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Public Policy Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting research, analyzing public policies, and providing recommendations to impact decision-making processes. This position requires a strong understanding of government policies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis on public policies and their impact on various stakeholders.
• Monitor and track legislative and regulatory developments at the local, state, and federal levels.
• Provide timely and accurate reports on policy developments and their potential impact on the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop policy recommendations that align with the organization's goals and values.
• Attend and participate in policy-related meetings, forums, and conferences.
• Communicate complex policy issues to internal and external stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key government officials, policymakers, and industry experts.
• Review and analyze proposed legislation and regulations to identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Provide support in the development and implementation of advocacy strategies.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to public policy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in public policy analysis or related field.
• Strong knowledge of government policies and procedures at the local, state, and federal levels.
• Excellent research and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information.
• Proven experience in developing policy recommendations and influencing decision-making processes.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other data analysis tools.
• Experience in advocacy and working with government officials is a plus.
