Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and educational standards
Utilize a variety of teaching methods and techniques to meet the diverse learning needs of students
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel comfortable to ask questions and participate in discussions
Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills through hands-on experiments and projects
Incorporate technology and other resources to enhance the learning experience
Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support as needed
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop interdisciplinary projects and promote cross-curricular learning
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and academic goals
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated on the latest teaching methods and practices
Maintain accurate records of grades, attendance, and other student information
Ensure a safe and respectful learning environment for all students

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
Valid teaching certification in Science
Previous experience teaching Science at the middle or high school level preferred
Strong knowledge and understanding of Science concepts and principles
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
Experience with integrating technology into the classroom
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
Positive attitude and flexibility to adapt to changing situations
