Position: Quality Control Specialist

Overview: We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Control Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our products and services. You will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control processes, conducting inspections and tests, and identifying areas for improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality control principles and practices, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality control procedures, standards, and specifications for all products and services
• Conduct thorough inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Identify and troubleshoot any issues with product quality and work with cross-functional teams to resolve them
• Document and report all quality issues and non-conformities, and track corrective and preventive actions
• Monitor production processes to ensure they are in compliance with quality standards and make recommendations for improvement
• Conduct training sessions for employees on quality control procedures and standards
• Conduct audits and assessments of suppliers to ensure they meet our quality standards
• Keep up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices in quality control
• Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Participate in the development and review of product specifications and testing methods

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools
• Experience with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems
• Proven ability to conduct inspections, tests, and audits and interpret results
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
