As an Education Editor, you will play a crucial role in developing and editing educational materials that will have a positive impact on students' learning and academic success.

Role Overview: As an Education Editor, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality, accuracy, and relevance of our educational materials. You will work closely with our team of writers, designers, and subject matter experts to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and proofread educational materials, including textbooks, workbooks, and digital resources, to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
• Collaborate with writers and subject matter experts to develop new educational materials that align with curriculum standards and meet the needs of our target audience.
• Conduct research and fact-checking to ensure the accuracy of information presented in the materials.
• Review and provide feedback on drafts and revisions of educational materials to ensure they meet our quality standards.
• Work closely with the design team to ensure that the layout, graphics, and visuals enhance the overall educational experience for students.
• Stay updated on current educational trends and standards to ensure that our materials remain relevant and effective.
• Collaborate with other editors and project managers to ensure timely and successful completion of projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Journalism, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an editor, preferably in the educational publishing industry.
• Strong knowledge of various writing styles and grammar rules.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Familiarity with educational standards and curriculum development.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
