Position: Education Coordinator

Summary: We are seeking an organized and passionate Education Coordinator to join our team. As an Education Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our education programs, including curriculum development, teacher training, and student engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, excellent communication skills, and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement educational programs and initiatives that align with our overall mission and goals
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure curriculum meets educational standards and is engaging for students
• Train and support teachers in effective instructional strategies, classroom management, and assessment techniques
• Monitor student progress and provide additional support or resources as needed
• Coordinate with community partners to provide supplemental educational opportunities for students
• Manage program budgets and allocate resources efficiently
• Maintain accurate records and reports on program performance and student outcomes
• Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and administrators to provide updates on program activities
• Stay current on industry trends and research to continually improve program offerings
• Oversee the recruitment and hiring of qualified teachers and staff
• Conduct regular evaluations to assess program effectiveness and make necessary improvements
• Implement and maintain policies and procedures to ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
• Collaborate with other departments to promote and market educational programs to the community
• Serve as a liaison between the organization, schools, and community partners to build strong relationships and partnerships

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 3 years experience in education, with at least 1 year in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of curriculum development, instructional strategies, and educational standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of stakeholders
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other educational software programs
• Passion for education and making a positive impact on students' lives
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
• Prior experience in program management and budgeting preferred
