Key Responsibilities:

• Operate cash registers and handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring a smooth and efficient checkout process.
• Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Train, supervise, and schedule a team of cashiers, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders for necessary supplies.
• Perform end-of-day cash reconciliation and prepare daily cash reports.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service.
• Handle returns and exchanges, adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned by the management team.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous cashier experience in a retail or hospitality setting preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations with grace and professionalism.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and meet deadlines.
• Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Experience with cash handling and point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
