Responsibilities:

Transport goods and materials to designated locations in a safe and efficient manner
Load and unload cargo onto trucks or other transportation vehicles
Inspect and maintain the condition of vehicles, reporting any maintenance needs or issues
Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating vehicles
Communicate with dispatchers and other team members to ensure timely delivery and pick-up of goods
Keep accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times, mileage, and any issues encountered
Plan and strategize efficient routes to maximize delivery time and minimize costs
Handle and resolve any delivery-related issues or complaints from customers
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including vehicles and equipment

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Freight Transporter or in a similar role
Ability to operate various types of vehicles, including trucks, vans, and trailers
Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Physical ability to lift and move heavy cargo (up to 50 pounds)
Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as needed
