About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Platform Lead to join our dynamic team. As the Data Platform Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of our data platform, ensuring its stability, scalability, and security. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide solutions to optimize data processing and analytics. This role requires a strong understanding of data architecture, database management, and data governance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of our data platform to support business needs and data-driven decision making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency.
• Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to maintain data quality and security.
• Manage and optimize ETL processes to ensure timely and accurate data ingestion and transformation.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data platform performance issues, identify and implement solutions to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data platform processes, procedures, and standards.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in data management and analytics, and recommend and implement new technologies and tools to enhance the data platform.
• Mentor and coach team members to ensure their professional growth and development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data management, data engineering, or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of data architectures, database design, and data modeling.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in SQL and ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS.
• Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven leadership and team management abilities.
