Key Responsibilities:

Supervise a team of laundry attendants and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and on time
Schedule and assign duties to staff, taking into consideration workload and staff availability
Train new employees on laundry procedures and ensure all staff are following proper laundry protocols
Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies to maintain a well-stocked laundry room
Inspect and maintain laundry equipment, reporting any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department
Maintain a clean and organized laundry room to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
Ensure all laundry items are properly sorted, washed, dried, and folded according to company standards
Handle any customer concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner
Monitor and track laundry expenses, making recommendations for cost-saving measures when necessary
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in laundry technology to improve efficiency and productivity

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related field preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in a laundry or hospitality setting
Strong knowledge of laundry equipment and procedures
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work well under pressure and manage a fast-paced environment
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
