Job Title: Education Curriculum Specialist

Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Education Curriculum Specialist to join our team. As an Education Curriculum Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing curriculum materials for our educational programs. You will work closely with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and other team members to ensure that our curriculum meets the needs of our students and aligns with educational standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in curriculum development, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a passion for education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with subject matter experts and instructional designers to identify learning objectives, develop course outlines, and design curriculum materials.
• Utilize best practices in curriculum design to create engaging and effective learning experiences for students.
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date with current educational trends and standards to ensure that our curriculum is relevant and effective.
• Create and review lesson plans, assessments, and other instructional materials to ensure they meet the learning objectives and are aligned with educational standards.
• Develop and maintain a curriculum development schedule to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Collaborate with other team members to review and provide feedback on curriculum materials.
• Conduct regular evaluations and assessments of our curriculum to identify areas for improvement and make necessary revisions.
• Train and support teachers and other staff on the implementation of our curriculum.
• Keep detailed records of curriculum development and updates.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Curriculum Design, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in curriculum development, preferably in an education setting.
• Proven track record of designing and developing effective curriculum materials.
• Strong knowledge of educational standards and best practices in curriculum design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficient in using technology and educational software.
• Experience with project management and meeting tight deadlines.
• Passion for education and creating meaningful learning experiences for students.
