Position: Level Designer

Overview: We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Level Designer to join our team. As a Level Designer, you will be responsible for designing and creating game levels that provide an engaging and immersive experience for players. Your role will involve collaborating with different teams to ensure that the game levels are visually appealing, challenging, and align with the overall game design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and create game levels that align with the game design and objectives.
• Collaborate with the game design, art, and programming teams to ensure the levels are visually appealing and gameplay mechanics are smoothly integrated.
• Develop level layouts, puzzles, and challenges that provide an enjoyable and immersive experience for players.
• Use industry-standard tools and techniques to create 2D and 3D level designs.
• Implement and test game mechanics and features within the levels.
• Conduct playtests and gather feedback to continuously improve the level design.
• Ensure that the levels are balanced and meet the difficulty curve of the game.
• Troubleshoot and fix any level-related bugs and issues.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in level design.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Game Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Level Designer or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of game design principles, level design, and gameplay mechanics.
• Proficient in using game engines and level design tools such as Unity, Unreal Engine, or Hammer.
• Experience in creating 2D and 3D game levels.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
