Job Title: Public Sector Project Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Public Sector Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing projects for public sector clients. You will work closely with government agencies, non-profit organizations, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project tasks are completed on time and within budget
• Act as a liaison between the organization and public sector clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise
• Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify potential project risks and develop contingency plans
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, community leaders, and other partners
• Monitor project performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure project goals are met
• Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and other stakeholders to provide updates on project status and present recommendations for improvement
• Manage project budgets and ensure expenses are within approved limits
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies throughout the project lifecycle
• Collaborate with team members to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes as needed
• Mentor and train junior project management staff to support their professional growth and development

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the public sector
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
• Proven track record of successfully managing projects from initiation to completion
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Experience working with government agencies and/or non-profit organizations is preferred
• PMP certification is a plus
