Responsibilities:

Design and develop construction plans for various civil engineering projects such as roads, bridges, buildings, and water systems
Conduct site investigations and analyze data to determine project feasibility and potential risks
Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for construction projects
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project designs meet all requirements and regulations
Monitor progress and ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule
Conduct quality control checks on construction materials and methods to ensure compliance with project specifications
Identify potential problems and provide solutions to ensure project success
Ensure all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in civil engineering technology
Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and support staff

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Proven work experience as a Civil Engineer
Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, concepts, and practices
Proficient in using design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation
Familiarity with relevant codes and regulations
Excellent project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Willingness to travel and work in various locations
