Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as an Admissions Counselor. As an Admissions Counselor, you will play a vital role in the recruitment and enrollment process of prospective students. You will be responsible for guiding students through the admissions process, providing them with information about our institution, and helping them make informed decisions about their educational future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students and their families, providing them with information about our institution, programs, and admissions process.
• Conduct informational sessions and campus tours for prospective students and their families, showcasing the unique offerings and opportunities available at our institution.
• Review and evaluate applications, transcripts, and other supporting documents to determine eligibility for admission.
• Communicate admissions decisions to applicants and assist them with the enrollment process.
• Develop and maintain relationships with high schools, community colleges, and other organizations to promote our institution and attract prospective students.
• Attend college fairs, recruitment events, and other outreach activities to increase visibility and attract potential students.
• Collaborate with academic departments and faculty to stay current on program offerings and admission requirements.
• Assist with the planning and execution of orientation programs for new students.
• Track and report on admissions data and trends, providing insights and recommendations for recruitment and enrollment strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in admissions, recruitment, or counseling in a higher education setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse populations.
• Knowledge of admissions policies and procedures, as well as federal and state regulations related to admissions.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
