Key Responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day operations of the dairy farm, including supervising and directing farm staff.
Ensure the health and well-being of our animals by monitoring their nutrition, breeding, and medical care.
Oversee the production of high-quality milk, ensuring that all milk meets industry standards.
Develop and implement farm protocols and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of our team and animals.
Monitor and maintain farm equipment, facilities, and infrastructure, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Create and manage the farm's budget, including expenses, income, and purchasing of supplies.
Keep accurate records of milk production, animal health, and farm maintenance.
Oversee the hiring, training, and development of farm staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in dairy farming, implementing new techniques and technologies to improve farm operations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Animal Science or related field.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in dairy farming, with at least 2 years in a management role.
Strong knowledge of dairy farming practices, animal nutrition, and milk production.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
Proficient in farm management software and Microsoft Office suite.
Flexibility to work long hours and weekends as needed.
