Job Overview: As a Senior Secure System Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure systems for our clients. You will be responsible for securing our clients' networks, systems, and devices against cyber attacks, as well as ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of their data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain secure systems for clients, including network infrastructure, firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and endpoint security solutions.
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and address potential security risks.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards for clients.
• Monitor and analyze security logs and events to identify and respond to potential security incidents.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and help desk staff on security-related issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and trends, and recommend appropriate solutions to mitigate risks.
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide support for security incidents outside of regular business hours.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in secure system engineering, preferably in a client-facing role.
• Strong knowledge of network security technologies and protocols, such as TCP/IP, VPN, and DNS.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and endpoint security solutions.
• Familiarity with security standards and frameworks, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS.
• Experience with security assessment tools and techniques, such as vulnerability scanners and penetration testing.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC, are a plus.
